“I think OG’s style of play at that tournament was the most interesting” - Echo about The International 2019

Team Resilience's midlaner Shu 'Echo' Ziliang, in an interview at The International 2026, spoke about how he perceived entering his first TI, and also spoke about the name of his team.

I was very happy because years of hard work had finally paid off. Last year we had good chances to win the qualifications, but only now we were able to do it. So I was very happy to make it to TI.

[Who was the first to congratulate you after you qualified for the tournament? ] My family and my friends. My parents were the first to congratulate me.

I started watching the tournament with The International 2015. I think the most memorable moment was at The International 2019. Because at that time I had just entered the professional scene. I learned a lot from watching Topson play back then. I think OG's playing style was the most interesting at that tournament.

[ In English, the team name refers to the ability to be resilient or to bounce back easily from adversity. How accurately do you think this describes your team's style of play? ] In many of our games, when the match gets into the late stages, we lack consistency. But our goal is to become a more resilient team, to live up to the meaning of our name. I think the team name reflects our own expectations of ourselves.

Team Resilience finished 9th-13th at The International 2026. The team lost to Team Spirit in the elimination round.
