Sky and Guinness expand accessibility across Premier League coverage
Live Subtitles will cover every main-channel Premier League match from October 10, with descriptive audio commentary available on selected fixtures.

Sky and Guinness are launching a new accessibility initiative across Premier League coverage on October 10. Live Subtitles will be available for every Premier League match shown on Sky’s main channels, while Live Descriptive Audio Commentary will be offered for selected fixtures during the season.
The opening weekend will feature the Manchester United–Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool–Manchester City matches on October 10 and 11. The descriptive service is designed for blind and partially sighted supporters, providing continuous detail on play, key incidents, the stadium atmosphere and action away from the ball.
Live Subtitles will cover commentary, analysis and on-screen dialogue in real time for deaf and hard-of-hearing viewers. Both services will be available through Sky+, Sky Q, Sky Glass, Sky Stream, NOW and Virgin Media, with accessibility settings integrated into the viewing experience. RNIB and accessibility specialists contributed to the service’s development.
ColdMath take
The rollout gives more supporters a practical way to follow live Premier League football together. Fans should check the TV Guide for the AD logo and availability of descriptive commentary on individual fixtures.
